Driver Genius is a driver manager tool for Windows that can backup, restore and update all your drivers in a set of very simple steps. It has a very easy to use interface which will make the whole process very quick and easy.
Driver Genius can quickly detect and backup all drivers installed in your system which can be stored as a zip file, a self extracting file or an independent auto installer program. When restoring drivers back, you won’t need install them one by one. Just one click shall take care of all the tedious installing labor.
Once your drivers are installed, Driver Genius can update and get rid of useless beta drivers using a data base of about 30,000 device drivers which is constantly being updated through the Liveupdate feature or by synchronizing directly to the website. Many times using out of date or incorrect drivers may cause severe malfunctions in your computer. Driver Genius avoids all this with one mouse click.
When drivers are updated or hardware is removed, leftover drivers can still be installed in the system. Driver Genius can find and uninstall these drivers to give your computer optimum performance.
The trial version allows the whole backup and restore process, even with the Liveupdate feature, but to keep your drivers up to date, a license is required. |
